HANYANG
PETROCHEMICAL CO., LTD is a mid-sized enterprise specialized
with manufacturing raw materials for textile printing. The company is small
but filled with talented and creative young people, accomplishing highly
effective sales result and functioning as a important part of backbone of
Korean textile-printing industry.Yearly increasing amount of sales and exports proves our company to be healthier and stronger than any other small/medium enterprises. We also try to increase our investment on technological development and improve working environment for our fellow workers.
Brief
History: First established as HANYANG PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY on
January 7, 1986, we opened a factory in Ahnyang. Later we entered to a technical
cooperation with TOYO INK in Japan, and, after numerous tests on manufacturing
process and safety, activated our Binder production line to produce and
sell special textile-printing items such as foams, rubber, white paste,
etc.On September 23, 1994, HANYANG PETROCHEMICAL CO., LTD was established. In October 1995, the company moved into its new factory constructed in Sihwa Industrial Complex, Ansan-Si, Kyounggi-Do. Then, we installed more plants for Acryl Emulsion production, which have enabled us a massive manufacturing.
A specialized research team was installed in July 1997: it was another effort of ours to produce high-quality product with competence. Such strife finally bore fruit in July 1998, by developing textile-printing thickener for the first ever in Korea. This success spurred us to actually establish a research institute in March 1999. Now our research institute is using its best exertion to develop environment-friendly, lower-priced quality products
According to the Article 74 of the Enforced Law of Military Service, our company was appointed as a designated company for the special military service: those who are professional researchers or skilled industrial workers can carry out their alternative military service by working for our company, instead of going to regular army. Furthermore, in July 2001, Kyounggi Small/Medium Enterprise Office enlisted us as a venture business because of our best effort on.
Finally, in 2002, Kyounggi-Do appointed us, after thorough examination, as Promising Small/Medium Enterprise in Kyounggi-Do.
Yet, we are not remaining satisfied with what we have become so far, but doing our best with cooperating local government enterprises in order to make contribution to our local community and its economy - and eventually firming up our foundation and position.

Organization:
Under the leadership of CEO, who has open mind and provides the relaxed
environment in which everyone can do his or her job, we consist of the Department
of General Affair, which takes care of general affairs in the company and
gives the best support to every single team, the Domestic/International
Sales Department in charge of opening up new markets and performing the
customer service in Korea and abroad, and Uijeongbu Sales Shop that takes
care of supply and sales to larges textile-printing factories in northern
Kyounggi-Do area.
In
1999, we financed ourselves to establish a company in Qingdao, China. We
have equipped ourselves with a system immediately responding to the Chinese
market which rapidly advances toward the open-door and commercialism. Our
outpost in Qingdao is in full operation of local sales, doing the best to
occupy more rooms in the Chinese market.Our manufacturing line consists of the 1st Production Control Team, under the direct management of our factory director who has long experience with skills and know-how, and the 2nd Production Control Team manufacturing/processing binders, pigments, and metallic.
And we have a research institute, of which the research director who studied macromolecular science in Germany, and fellow staves with intention and talent.
Recently, we have fully participated all expositions and exhibitions held in China and Southeast Asia, intending to open a new market to supply high quality products for textile-printing factories in the Third World, and to result a good reputation of HANYANG PETROCHEMICAL CO., LTD from Korea in the international textile printing field. We also make consistent sales to the U.S. market, though our export is in small amount. Our most recent success in Qingdao, China, is worth of recognition: we have practically taken over the entire market there. We are confident that our products in terms of quality and price are superior to other companies and their products. Qingdao is one little spot in China. We are not to stop and stay here, but advance further to the gradually expanding Chinese market and Southeast Asia: we are 100% sure about our possibility.
